Message	Or push it down the street before firing it up. A local (Santa Barbara) guy also has grumpy neighbors, one of whom egged him for the noise. He has an unresonated Specialty Z exhaust. It's even legal (barely passes CA exhaust noise test). He measured several exhausts and I posted the results some time ago. An unresonated 2.5" B&B would not pass the CA test. I replaced my 3" B&B (even louder), with "tip reducers" - call B&B, with a resonated Specialty Z setup. Still somewhat loud but much quieter than the B&B. The resonators help a lot.
